  • Your role is to be the point of reference for suppliers.
  • To work with Suppliers both potential and existing.
  •  
  • Negotiating best products, terms and pricing for the Company in the purchase of mainly raw materials for the manufacture of hygiene products.
 
  • To build good trading partnerships with these suppliers and their supply chains.
 
  • Negotiating and completing full contracts of supply, building on relationships in the supply of quality materials at competitive prices.
 
  • Such products meeting exacting standards and specifications, ensuring fit for purpose and that high standards are maintained.
 
  • Ensuring raw materials are delivered in good time, in good order and that stock levels are where they need to be to meet production needs, by monitoring trends, patterns, demand, with good planning skills and problem solving.
 
  • Commercial and product awareness essential along with the ability to calculate and evaluate data provided to ensure the demands of the business are met, ensuring the Company meets the needs of its customers.
 
  • Ensuring at the end of each day ALL the days products produced is inputted into the SAGE system keeping our stock systems up to date.
  • You will need to be a team player as working closely with Operations Manager.
 
  • You will need to have good negotiating skills
 
  • You will need to be able to accurately record details of conversation, keeping systems up to date with developments and concluding any matters raised.
  • You will need to keep up to date with processes, procedures in relation to Company Policy with regards to delivery, returns, etc. Gain a full understanding of our product range and its availability.
  • You will have to meet monthly goals set by the directors and be able to show how this has been achieved.
  • At all times maintaining good verbal and written communication, excellent listening skills, whilst working in a team in what can be a fast-paced environment with pressure on deadlines.
  • You will need to focus on your attention to detail, be able to problem solve, be a skilled typist and good at multi-tasking. A people person, experience in customer service with good phone etiquette.
